Thieno-triazolo-1,4-diazepino-2-carboxylic acid amides of general formula see diagramm : EP0194416,P21,F2 wherein R1 represents hydrogen, a straight-chained or branched alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, optionally substituted by halogen or hydroxy, cyclopropyl, alkoxy with 1-3 carbon atoms or halogen ; R2 and R3 , which may be identical or different, represent hydrogen, a straight-chained or branched alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or both groups R2 and R3 together with the nitrogen atom represent a 5-, 6- or 7-membered ring which optionally contains a nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom as a further heteroatom, the second nitrogen atom optionally being substituted by an alkyl group with 1-4 carbon atoms ; R4 represents phenyl, wherein the phenyl ring may be mono- or polysubstituted by methyl, halogen, nitro or trifluoromethyl, or alpha-pyridyl and n represents one of the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8.
