PROCESS FOR PREPARING AMIDES OF CYCLOPROPANECARBOXYLIC ACID

Production of 2-substituted cyclopropane-carboxamides of formula (I) comprises reacting the corresponding 2-substituted-cyclopropane-carboxylic acid (II) with ammonia at a pressure of 1-300 bar in the presence of an organic solvent. R = H, 1-4C alkyl or optionally substituted aryl or aralkyl.
