Zusammenfassung:	A description of the method with a mineral magnetite structure of Fe3O4 where the content of the bivalent iron varies within the range of 16 to 22% by weight, by the oxidation of ferrous salt, preferably by atmospheric oxygen, consisting of the oxidation of a water suspension produced by the precipitation of ferrous salt by a stoichiometric or excessive quantity of carbonate of alkali metal or of ammonium at a temperature of 50 to 100 degrees C.
