The proposed purification process of crude dimethylaminoborane DMAB (3) is characterized in that 15 to 30 percent by weight of deionized water are added to the melt of the crude DMAB (3) at a temperature ranging from 40 to 65 degC and the mixture is further vigorously mixed at this temperature for a period of 1 to 2 hours and the remaining undesired impurities are removed by subsequent extraction of the melted DMAB (3) with water at room temperature.
The method of purifying raw dimethylamine-borane DMAB (3) consists in adding 15 to 30% of mass of deionised water to melted raw DMAB (3) at a temperature of 40 to 65 degrees C. The mix is further intensively mixed for 1 to 2 hours at the given temperature and the remainder of unwanted foreign material is removed by water extraction of the melted DMAB (3) at room temperature. |
