Zusammenfassung:The fire fighting system has a number of containers (4) filled with solid propellant (7) which is released by the heat from an integral heater (8). The propellant exits the container via an aerosol (23) and is ducted to the protected space by distribution tubes. Several containers are linked to a distribution network. The ducted aerosol flow has gasses added to produce an optimum mixture without reducing the oxygen content below the safe human level and without increasing the carbon dioxide level above the safe value. If required the gasses are compressed by a pump for long pipe feeds.
