Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	In the present invention there is described a water emulsion based on at least one polyol with ion groups or groups convertible thereto and containing (A) 10 to 40 percent by weight of at least one polyol, (B) 0.5 to 10 percent by weight of at least one chlorinated polyolefin, (C) 5 to 40 percent by weight of at least one aromatic solvent and (D) 25 to 75 percent by weight of water. Process for preparing such emulsion is characterized in that at least one chlorinated polyolefin is dissolved along with at least one aromatic solvent and mixed with a water-soluble polyol components that is diluted in advance with water or the mixture is in the end introduced in water, whereupon it is subjected to homogenization without addition of emulsifier. So prepared water emulsion is suitable for use when preparing a two-component coating composition being suitable for single-layer varnishing or when preparing ground varnish layers on substrates of plastic material.
