System of vehicles moving on rails

The rail-borne vehicle system consists of self-propelling basic units (1) which is constructed from mass-produced motor bus modules (5,6), coupled together with substantially no tensile or compressive forces. The basic units may be coupled to each other via longitudinally elastic links. The modules may be a bus body (5) and a bus chassis (6). The proposed system of vehicles moving on rails, particularly system of railway stock comprises fundamental units (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b), consisting of substantially of bus series-production parts, whereby the fundamental units (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) are coupled with each other substantially without transfer of both tractive and pressure forces, for instance by a longitudinally springing guide. The invented system of vehicles moving on rails can be employed for a mechanical system of railway stock with rubber tyres. Systém dráhových vozidel, zejména systém kolejových vozidel, se skládá ze základních jednotek (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b), složených z podstatné části z autobusových sériových dílů, přičemž základní jednotky (1a, 1b, 2a, 2b) jsou navzájem spřaženy v podstatě bez přenosu tahových a tlakových sil, například podélně pružicím vedením.
