Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:In the present invention there is disclosed a mineral pigment with surface treated with organosilicon compounds and containing 0.01 to 1.0 percent by weight polydimethyl siloxane or derivatives thereof, 0.005 to 0.5 percent by weight non-ionogenic and/or cation active surface-active agent, preferably exhibiting antistatic activity and/or pyrohydrolysis products of the above specified compounds at temperatures up to 350 degC. Further the invented mineral pigment can also contain 0.01 to 1.0 percent by weight polyhydric alcohol and/or ethoxylated derivatives thereof and/or pyrohydrolysis products of the above-specified compounds at temperatures up to 350 degC. The polyhydric alcohol can be represented by trimethylpropane or pentaerythritol. In the present invention there is also claimed a process for preparing the mineral pigment whose surface was treated with organic compounds in a steam jet mill, where aerosol of siloxanes and surface-active agents is applied in a mixture of their pyrohydrolytic products formed in the superheated steam to the surface of the pigment particles.
