Zusammenfassung:	The system consists of an ellipsoidal reflector (1), a light source (2), a stop (3) and a mechanism for varying its position relative to the reflector between the low beam, high beam and motorway beam positions. For low beam the stop is close to the focal point (F) of the reflector, for motorway beam it is pivoted below the focal point of the reflector by a distance defined using aspherical lens (6) constants and for high beam it is pivoted further below the focal point.
