O-Phosphonomethyl choline and alkyl esters thereof, process of their preparation and use

O-Phosphonomethylcholine of general formula I and its alkyl esters of formula II, where R is an alkyl group derived from primary alcohol with 8 - 16 carbon atoms, and the method of their preparations. Their use to suppress the occurrence or growth of tumours in animals and man are described.
