Zusammenfassung:	A gas cleaning device with a filter has, fitted in a housing (11) comprising a raw gas inlet (1) and a pure gas outlet (10), a filter module (9) which consists of a support (2) made of a porous, heat-resistant, electroinsulating material, upon which is arranged a heatable metal fabric (3). The support (2) consists of mutually linked ceramic particles having a substantially spheric and polygonal shape. The support (2) is designed as a hollow body closed on one side. The gas inlet (1) ends in the opening of the hollow body. The opening of the hollow body ends in the gas outlet (10). The heatable metal fabric (3) and/or the porous support (2) are provided with a catalytic layer. Ionizing electrodes (4, 5) are arranged on the gas inlet side (1) and on the gas outlet side (10) of the support (2).
