Zusammenfassung:	The roller comprises compacting rings (8) spaced apart on the tube (7). At the rear, and below the axis of rotation (10) of the roller scrapers (11) are mounted. These extend between the rings, their working edges (13) being close to or bearing against the tube. The rings can be of wedge-shaped cross-section, and there can be seed guides (5,15) behind the roller, delivering the seeds into the ground or via sowing shares. Seed can be delivered into the grooves left by the rings, each of which can be in two embossed halves.
