Zusammenfassung:The control of the fibre tuft (7) in a wedge-shaped combing-out region of the opening device, which region is delimited by the radius of curvature of the opening roller (2) and by an opposite fibre-guide wall (9) in the cavity of the opening housing (1) is improved. The front part (8) of the working surface of this fibre-guide wall (9) is convex. When the fibre tuft (7) is being combed out, the convexity of the working surface allows a better control of the fibre tuft (7) gripped by the clothing of the opening roller (2).
