Zusammenfassung:The invention aims at substantially increasing the operational speed of spinning rotors (8) in open-end spinning units by modifying the upper wall (75) of the fibre supply duct out of the fibre opening unit and into the spinning rotor. The horizontal input section (752) of the upper wall (75) changes to an upwards inclined section (756) at the output section (77) of the fibre supply duct (73). The fibre supply duct is formed in an insert which is exchangeably mounted in the machine.
