Zusammenfassung:The solution concerns a method of production of ferrochrome catalyser for high-temperature conversion of carbon monoxide by water vapour by means of precipitation of solutions of technologically clean iron sulphates by solutions of ammonium or alkaline carbonates, by promoting of precipitated basic carbonates by chromium compounds, and by their shaping in tablets. The solution of iron sulphate containing from 85 to 95 g of Fe/l and at most 50 percent of final contents from 8 to 10 percent by weight of Cr2O3 in catalyser, with content of titan below 0.1 percent by weight and/or nickel below 0.05 percent by weight and/or manganese below 0.1 percent by weight is introduced into the solution of carbonates containing from 3.8 to 4.7 val NH3 or basic hydroxyls/l and from 3.8 to 5.5 val CO2/l at a temperature of 45 to 65 degrees C. The obtained suspension is diluted by water 1:1 and decanted by vapour condensate, optimally with conductivity of 15 micro siemens. After filtering it is peptised and promoted by simultaneous washing after mixing with 40 percent of reversing granulate by the solution of chromium oxide to by suspension selected ferrous sediments to content of Cr2O3 in catalyser from 8 to 10 percent by weight. The obtained granulate is dried, heat processed and shaped into the form of tablets. The originated catalyser shows higher activity at conversion of carbon monoxide by water vapour than catalyser used up to the present.
