Zusammenfassung:	A method of production of felt headwear, mainly of hats, containing a mixture of animal and synthetic fibres that constitute a hat semi-processed product at concurrent action of heat treatment consists in the fact that from 20 to 98 percent by weight of animal fibres are mixed with 2 to 80 percent by weight of fibres originated by splitting of at least single-layer anisotropic polyolefin foil, for example of polypropylene or polyethylene, and after homogenisation and outsorting of the mixture the obtained product undergoes a heat treatment at a temperature of 70 to 200 degrees C.
