Zusammenfassung:The solution is determined for protected working surfaces of high mechanically and thermally stressed machine components, e.g. on functional surfaces of crystallisers of copper or its alloys. The crystallisers surface primarily gets surface-tested by degreasing and rinsing, and after subsequent pickling and repeated rinsing it is subject to cathodic electrocrystallization in an electrolyser in order to deposit at least one functional metal layer opn the basis of nickel or its alloys thick of 1 up to 10 mm. For the purpose of achieving increased adhesivity of the protective layer, the crystalliser surface gets mechanically treated, is provided with grooving with negative angles, resp.
