Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this proposed solution is the greater utilisation of calcinated calcareous substances, achieving greater desulphurisation effect and the reduction of operating expenses. The grains of milled limestone from which at least one half, based on mass, are of a bigger size than 0.2 mm, get calcinated and react to the sulphur dioxide and sulphur trioxide to calcium sulphite and calcium sulphate, while the result of this reaction is a mix of calcareous substances consisting of calcium oxide, calcium sulphate and calcium sulphite. At the same time, this mix contains more mass of calcium oxide than calcium sulphite and calcium sulphate. The burnt gases behind the boiler are then separated to at least two thirds of the overall mass flow of the calcareous substances. This mix of calcareous substances is crushed so that at least one half of the crushed grains mass do not exceed a dimension of 0.08 mm. The calcium oxide is then activated by the water effect and/or water vapour on the hydroxide. Thereafter, the hydroxide gets dispersed in the burnt gases flow where it reacts to the sulphur dioxide. The method is applied where the chemical fuels, i.e. so-called fossil fuels, are burnt. |
