Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a lock system in the sinker cover of a circular knitting machine for the production of hosiery articles. The object of the invention is to provide an improvement in the suspension of jack sinkers in each lock system, whilst at the same time ensuring an accurate guidance of the jack sinkers in the stitch-forming region. According to the invention, lock parts connected in an articulated manner are provided. The design of the sinker lock parts solves the guidance of jack sinkers in such a way that the prestress in the stitches is always the same.
