Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:1502684 Reactive dyestuffs IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 24 March 1976 [15 April 1975 8 Jan 1976 20 Jan 1976] 15397/75 00672/76 and 2171/76 Heading C4P The invention comprises reactive dyes of the general formula where Q is a chromophoric residue, the triazine group being attached to an N atom in Q, R 2 is F, Cl, Br, OH, C 1 -C 4 alkoxy, NH 2 , a quaternary ammonium group or the residue of a primary or secondary amine linked via the N atom which, if aromatic, contains at least one sulphonic or carboxylic acid group, R 1 is H or an optionally substituted C 1 -C 4 -alkyl group, R is an optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical, and y is 1 or 2. Q may be of the mono- or disazo, anthraquinone, phthalocyanine, formazan, nitroarylamine, oxazine, azine, triphenylmethane, xanthene, phthalocyanine and stilbene azo series. The radical R may be, e.g. C 1 -C 6 alkylene, cycloaliphatic or aromatic radicals which may be substituted. The dyes may be prepared by reacting a compound of the general formula where Q and y are as above, hal is F, Cl, or Br and R 3 is F, Cl, Br, C 1 -C 4 alkoxy, NH 2 or the residue of a primary or secondary amine linked via the N atom which if aromatic contains at least one sulphonic or carboxylic acid group with y moles of an amine where R and R 1 are as above. Dyes where R 2 is OH are obtained by treating an aqueous solution of dyes where R 2 is F, Cl, or Br with an alkali. Dyes where R 2 is NH 2 , a quaternary ammonium group or a residue of a primary or secondary amine are obtained by reacting dyes where R 2 is F, Cl, or Br with ammonia, a tertiary amine or a primary or secondary amine. Dyes where R 2 is F, Cl, Br, optionally substituted amino or C 1 -C 4 alkoxy may be prepared by reacting a dye having one or two acylatable groups with an s-triazine compound of the general formula wherein R and R 1 are as above, hal is F, Cl or Br and R 2 is as given above. The dyes are used to dye or print wool, silk, polyhexamethylene adipamide, polycaproimide, cotton, linen and viscose rayon and may be used in cellulose polyester anions with disperse dyes.
