Zusammenfassung:	A fuel composition for use in internal combustion engines which composition comprises (A) a major amount of a fuel suitable for use in an internal combustion engine, preferably either a lead free or low-lead fuel for use in a spark ignition engine and (B) a minor amount of a composition comprising a metal salt in the form of a particulate dispersion. Examples of suitable metal salts include potassium borate, sodium borate, potassium carbonate and potassium bicarbonate.
