Zusammenfassung:	It is a kind of filtering device and method for filtering high order harmonics in electrical power, used for eliminating voltage wave distortions in the electrical power network resulted from the high order harmonic currents, and for increasing the quality and safety of power supply. Usually, the static filtering device is a single tunning filter with an additional resistor, and its quality factor is adjustable step-by-step; or it is one without additional resistor, and its quality factor is unadjustable. The device and method of this invention have some features that the filter is composed of a reactance with its quality and inductance stepless adjustable continuously, and a low inductance resistor. The range of adjustment is large. It is convenient to operate with low energy consumption. It is easy to implement the parallel operation with multiple filtering devices.
