PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING THE SEX OF EMBRYO OF CALVES

The present invention provides a method for controlling the sex of the embryo of calves to breed more females. The process comprises injection of acidic buffer of PH 3.0 into uterus of cows during artificial fertilization so that to adjust acid-base degree in the reproductive tract, and to creat an environment favorable to sperms containing X chromosome to live and to fertilize. When PH value at the exit of cervix uteri reaches 5.8-6.0, conventional frozen semen defrozen by breeding female of PH 6.0 or the frozen semen containing more X chromosome, obtained through semen separation is injected into it on time, as a result, rate of pregnant cow to breed female calves reaches 80-85%.
