Zusammenfassung:The process for manufacture of ammonia comprises first and second stage catlytic reformings,coversion,removing oxides of carbon and synthesising ammonia,wherein at least a part of gases lean in ammonia are circulated to zone and a side-stream of the gas is treated in order to seperate circulated rich-hydrogen gases.The improved process is as follows:(1) to operate step at an exit temperaturte higher than 946 Deg.C.with the air which is capable of furnishig 3-11 mole % of excess nitrogen forming a kind of second stage exit gas having at least 0.8 vol.% of methane.(2) to operate while the lean ammonia gases can be made to contain at least 10 vol.% of stabilizing gases;(3) feeding a mixtue consisting of the synthesis gas having at least 1.2 mol% (dry base) in content formed in,circulated gases in and the rich hydrogen gas in to the synthesis,so as to minimize the loss of hydrogen during seperation.
