Zusammenfassung: | Using cheap metals and rare-earths as raw material, and copper oxide and V2O5 as active components, the catalyst is made from the above substances according to a certain recipe and a specific process. The use of noble metals is thus avoided, whereas the catalyst shows quite high purification efficiency regarding carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons under the condition that sulphur dioxide content is below 50ppm. In addition, this catalyst has proved to be comparable to those made of noble metals in purification activity, heat stability, strength, and resistance to sulphur-poisoning. Therefore, it has the advantage of abundance of raw materials, low cost, and requiring a simple process. |
