Wireless communication module for portable electronic device

A wireless communication module of a portable electronic device comprises a first antenna module and a second antenna module. The first antenna module includes a first antenna capable of receiving and transmitting wireless signal, an electronic circuit capable of encoding and decoding the wireless signal, and a monitor for monitoring the signal magnitude. The second antenna module comprises a second antenna capable of receiving and transmitting wireless signal, and a signal transmission line for connecting the first and second antenna modules. The monitor of the first antenna module monitors the magnitude of wireless signals received and transmitted by the two antennas. When the magnitude of wireless signal received and transmitted by the first antenna is less than that of the second antenna, it is switched to the second antenna module for receiving and transmitting wireless signal, which is transmitted to the electronic circuit of the first antenna module for decoding it into a digital signal. Accordingly, signal with excellent quality can be obtained by the portable electronic device, and environmental interference to the signal is obviated.
