A bundling band is firstly transported to a hinge-shaped bundling mechanism linearly by a straightener, and the bundling band has definite width and thickness more than 1.5 mm. The bundling mechanism presses the bundling band into a state accommodating the external shape of the steel bar bundles under the action of motive power. The head of the bundling band is then welded or riveted. A clamp device is finally loosened, and the steel bar bundles lie in a tight bundling state by the loosening force of the steel bar bundles.
