Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a packing machinery and discloses a glue retaining and discharging device of a surface covering machine glue coating system, comprising a glue coating roll, a glue mixing roll, a glue retaining plate and a glue retaining protecting cover. A spring and a guiding mechanism are arranged between the glue retaining plate and a wall panel, and the glue retaining protecting cover is fixed on the guiding mechanism. The guiding mechanism and the wall panel are fixed together, and the glue retaining plate is directly closed to the both ends of the glue coating roll and the glue mixing roll through the pressure of the spring. Consequently, a flute is not needed to be arranged on the roll, the glue retaining plate is contacted close with the roll, and the leakage of glue is inexistent. In addition, the glue retaining protecting cover is provided with a shifting block and the rotation of a handle of the shifting block is convenient for discharging the glue.
