Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a self-tighting seal device for a stem of a valve composed of a packing, a packing gland and a packing cushion. The packing is pressed and provided between a valve stem and a valve cap by the packing gland and the packing cushion. The inner circumference and the outer circumference of the packing cushion are respectively embedded O-shaped rubber sealing rings to match with the valve stem and the valve cap to form a plunger sealing mechanism. Simultaneously the packing adopts an annular ring and the cross section of the annular ring is a herringbone structure. With the function of the upward pressure medium, the valve stem and the valve cap mutually have an automatic seal function. The sealing property is very reliable and the utility model is suitable to sealing devices of valve stems of various valves.
