The crusher comprises a cutter axle which is arranged horizontally; Cutter groups which are composed of a plurality of cutters are arranged in even intervals along the horizontally arranged cutter axle the cutter shaft in axial direction; the cutters of each cutter group are equispaced along the radical direction of the cutter axle. The inner part of an interstice of the cutter groups on one side of the discharge port of the crusher is provided with a regulating grid plate which can control the projected length of the cutters. A lower grid plate is arranged below the crusher. When forage is put inside the feed hopper, the forage goes automatically to the discharge port under gravitational force; the forage is crushed by the cutters of the crusher which are rotating in high speed. The regulating grid plate can regulate the projected length of the cutters, in order to control the crushing length of the forage. The utility model has simple structure and reliable use.
