Zusammenfassung:	An improved double lamp backlight module contains two long lamps. Each lamp is bent into an S shape and has three straight lamp parts and two connecting parts, wherein, the two connecting parts are respectively connected with one end of adjacent two straight lamp part; the two lamps are fixed to a frame in juxtaposition, which makes straight lamp parts of the two lamp be in a parallel relationship and spaces between two adjacent straight lamp parts almost equal. Therefore, the light emitting unit can be applied to a 12 to 17 inch liquid crystal display, in particular to a 14 to 15 inch liquid crystal display.
