Ternary catalytic automobile tail gas converter

A three-way converter for auto exhaust solves the problem of the exhaust gas pollution of the car. The front of a shell is provided with an air feeder and a forepart cover and the back of the shell is provided with a posterior segment cover and a vent-pipe. A favoloid carrier formed by rolling an aludirome metal strip with a corrugated section is arranged in the shell. The surface of the favoloid carrier is coated with catalyst and accelerant, in which a noble metal serves as the activator and an oxide serves as the promoter. The utility model has the advantages of small bulk and vapor lock, low back pressure, shock and press resistance, good thermal-shock resistant performance, low initiation temperature and high catalytic conversion rate. After the tail gas passes through the catalytic converter, the high purifying rate can be obtained; consequently the peripheral environment can be kept.
