Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a side plate for moulds for ceramic bricks, and a hard alloy or metal ceramic block is fixed on the inner side of the side plate. A block is arranged on a wearing surface of the side plate, so the close local of a top and a bottom moulds can be strengthened, and therefore, the service life of the side plate can be increased more than three times. Carbon steel can be used for replacing alloy steel which has high price and complex processing and can be used as backing material of the side plate, so the cost can be reduced. The block can be changed after abrasion, and therefore, the mould can be renewed.
