According to the ablation catheter and system, the catheter tail end is provided with at least one hollow needle, the hollow needle can extend from a catheter body at a certain angle to ablate target prostate tissue, and meanwhile, the hollow needle avoids structures in the area nearby the prostate tissue, and the structures comprise the urethra, the ejaculation tube and the rectum wall. A vapor ablation system has a pump, a catheter comprising a connection port positioned on a proximal end of the catheter, a lumen in fluid communication with the connection port and configured to receive brine from the pump via the connection port, at least one electrode positioned within the lumen, and at least two positioning elements positioned within the lumen, the at least two positioning elements have lumens having a vapor port therebetween and configured to be coupled to a distal tip of a catheter.
