A wire groove with an opening is formed in the outer side of the first reinforcing rib. According to the elevator car roof, due to the fact that the first reinforcing ribs are arranged and sequentially connected with the side pieces, the middle piece and the other side piece, the first reinforcing ribs can reinforce the structural strength of the top plate, the thickness of the top plate can be reduced under the condition that the same strength requirement is met, and therefore cost is saved.
