An external switching type duplex conversion direct-current contactor is composed of an electromagnetic component, a load component and a shell component, the electromagnetic component comprises a movable iron core, a coil, a coil frame and a magnetic conductive plate, the shell component comprises a shell and a base, the load component comprises a stud, a movable contact piece, a static contact piece, a push rod and an over-travel spring, a buckle plate is installed on the shell of the shell component, and the buckle plate is connected with the base. An inner leading-out sheet is arranged on the pinch plate through the combination of a screw and a nut, the inner end of the inner leading-out sheet is electrically connected with the coil, and the outer end of the inner leading-out sheet is connected with the outer insertion sheet. An inner lead-out sheet is connected with an outer insertion sheet and an external wire through the combination of a screw and a nut; or the inner lead-out sheet is directly connecte
