Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a screw type air cooler which comprises a motor, a gear box, a compressor, an expansion machine, a first dryer, a second dryer and a steam-water separator, and a first gear, a second gear and a third gear are respectively connected in the gear box. The output end of the motor is connected with a connecting shaft on the first gear through a coupler, and the second gear is fixedly connected with the extending shaft end of the compressor. The third gear is fixedly connected with the extending shaft end of the expansion machine, and an exhaust port of the compressor is communicated with an inlet of the steam-water separator; and an outlet of the steam-water separator is communicated with an inlet of the expansion machine.
