The clamping and conveying mechanism comprises a bottom plate, a clamping robot is rotationally arranged at the middle end of the top of the bottom plate, a conveying frame and a rotating rod are arranged at the positions, located on the two sides of the clamping robot, of the top of the bottom plate respectively, and a top plate is fixedly connected to the top of the clamping robot; clamping mechanisms are arranged at the bottoms of the two sides of the top plate correspondingly, rearview mirror containing discs are fixedly connected to the tops of the rotating rods, and a driving motor is fixedly connected to one side of the conveying frame. According to the device, the driving motor drives the conveying frame to conduct conveying, meanwhile, the linkage intermittent mechanism drives the rearview mirror containing disc to conduct intermittent rotation, and therefore the device can rapidly clamp rearview mirrors on the rearview mirror containing disc to the conveying frame through the clamping robot; and mea
