The device comprises a steel casing, a top plate, a supporting column and a bottom plate which are fixedly connected in sequence from top to bottom, wherein the top plate and the bottom plate are arranged in parallel; the top plate is provided with a plurality of axial positioning holes I, the bottom plate is provided with a plurality of axial positioning holes II, and the positioning holes I of the top plate and the positioning holes II of the bottom plate are correspondingly arranged up and down; the top plate is larger than the bottom plate in diameter. The positioning device has the advantages of being reasonable in structural design and convenient to operate on site, effectively improving drilling and positioning accuracy of the down-the-hole drill, controlling perpendicularity of a drill rod in the drilling process and guaranteeing drilling construction quality of the down-the-hole drill.
