A light-emitting hand washing basin comprises a basin body with a hand washing cavity, a drainage hole formed in the basin body and communicated with the hand washing cavity, a light-transmitting element arranged at the bottom of the hand washing cavity and a light-emitting assembly located below the light-transmitting element and used for illuminating the light-transmitting element. The light-emitting assembly comprises a shell, an illuminating lamp arranged in the shell and a light-transmitting plate which covers the shell and is opposite to the illuminating lamp, the shell is embedded in the bottom of the hand washing cavity, the light-transmitting plate and the illuminating lamp face the light-transmitting element, and an inductive switch electrically connected with the illuminating lamp is arranged in the shell.
