A dust removal mechanism for a circular knitting machine comprises two dust removal devices which are symmetrically arranged and detachably connected together. The dust removal device comprises an upper arc-shaped pipeline, a dust collection box and supporting legs connected to the lower portion of the upper arc-shaped pipeline.
