The novel clamping device for the flip-flop edge grinding machine comprises a base, a first stand column and a second stand column are arranged on the two symmetrical sides of the base, the first stand column is provided with a containing groove, a first motor is arranged in the containing groove, the output end of the first motor is fixedly connected with a threaded rod, and the threaded rod is in threaded connection with a supporting rod. The other ends of the supporting rods are connected with fixing plates, and pressing blocks are arranged at the bottoms of the fixing plates. A groove is formed in the second stand column, an electric telescopic rod is installed in the groove, a brush roller is installed at one end of the electric telescopic rod, and the end of the brush roller is connected with the output end of a second motor; the pressing block is arranged over the operation table and used for clamping a to-be-processed workpiece, and stable machining of the machine is facilitated; and by additionally a
