The novel electric glow plug comprises a positive pole screw rod, a negative pole nut and a heating wire, the anode screw is connected to the anode of the power supply; the cathode nut is connected to the cathode of the power supply; the cathode nut sleeves the first end of the anode screw; two ends of the heating wire are respectively a cathode nut and an anode screw. According to the novel electric glow plug, the positive electrode screw and the negative electrode nut are connected with the positive electrode and the negative electrode of the power source respectively, the two ends of the heating wire are connected with the positive electrode screw and the negative electrode nut respectively, the heating wire can rapidly emit heat after being
