There is provided a head-mounted air purifier comprising a first speaker assembly and a second speaker assembly wherein the first speaker assembly comprises a speaker, a filter assembly, an impeller for generating a flow of air through the filter assembly, a motor arranged to drive the impeller, and an air outlet downstream of the filter assembly, and a filter for emitting a filtered air flow from the speaker assembly. The impeller and the motor are disposed within the impeller housing.
