The monitoring device comprises an optical fiber sensor and a data acquisition instrument, the optical fiber sensor is longitudinally parallel and fixed on the outer wall of a buried pipeline at positions equivalent to three points, nine points and twelve points of a clock, and longitudinal strain data of the pipeline are obtained through the optical fiber sensor; extracting bending strain data, and identifying the pipeline suspension position and length according to the suspension pipeline additional bending moment distribution characteristics.
