The invention relates to the field of relays, and particularly discloses a multi-contact arc extinguishing relay which comprises a control circuit and a working circuit, the control circuit comprisesan electromagnet, and the working circuit comprises a static end and a movable end. The electromagnet acts according to the current change in the input control circuit so as to control the contact/disconnection of the static end and the movable end of the working circuit, and the static end and the movable end are provided with at least two groups of contacts; wherein the distance between one group of contacts is greater than that between the other group of contacts, when the current of the control circuit changes, each group of contacts are contacted/disconnected in sequence, and the meltingpoint of the disconnected contacts is higher than that of the disconnected contacts.
