Zusammenfassung:	The utility model discloses a whirlwind type self-cleaning air filter which comprises an outer cover, a filter element assembly and a base, the filter element assembly comprises an air inlet pipe, a filter element cover, a filter element, an air inlet cover and a filter element support, a filter element installation groove is formed between the air inlet pipe and the filter element cover, and thefilter element is installed in the filter element installation groove. The air inlet cover is connected with the filter element cover through a plurality of air guide plates, and an air inlet channelis formed between every two adjacent air guide plates. The outer cover covers the air inlet cover, the filter element support comprises a supporting pipe, and the lower portion of the supporting pipeis sleeved with a dust guide plate. A plurality of dust exhaust holes are formed in the lower portion of the air inlet cover around the periphery of the air inlet cover, a connecting screw is vertically arranged on the base, an
