The liquid crystal display device is formed by arranging a liquid crystal display panel with a display area and a terminal area (14) in a resin frame. The liquid crystal display panel comprises a TFT substrate (100) and an opposite substrate (200), the display region is formed in a portion where the TFT substrate (100) and the opposing substrate (200) overlap each other. The terminal region (14) is formed in a portion other than a portion where the TFT substrate (100) overlaps the opposing substrate (200).
