The system for the internal combustion engine comprises an air cylinder body which is provided with an oil returning passage, an air cylinder cover gasket which is provided with a return passage formed by walls and a restraining structure which crosses the return passage and is integrated with the air cylinder cover gasket, and the restraining structure is a rib. The utility model further provides an air cylinder cover gasket for the internal combustion engine. The restraining structure can restrain a loosen valve mechanism part from entering the lubricating oil passage of the air cylinder body so that the engine failure and the performance reduction can be prevented.
