The seating-type electric high altitude saw comprises a bottom seat adopting three-point adjustable foot margins, wherein a lifting and dropping sleeve is vertically arranged at the center of the bottom seat, a universal platform is arranged at the upper end of the sleeve, a vertical oscillating rod is arranged on the universal platform, an electric motor saw is fixed at the front end of one side of the oscillating rod, a weight hammer, an operation platform and a hand grab are arranged on the other side of the oscillating rod so as to enable personnel to control the electric high altitude saw. When the seating-type electric high altitude saw is used, the height and the angle of the electric high altitude saw is selected according to the height of a tree, and treetops below a guide line is cut on the premise of guaranteeing safety so as to guarantee a net distance between forest canopies and the guild line meeting a requirement of an electric power circuit safe operation.
